Vamanam (Emesis therapy)

It’s a purificatory Therapy in which vomitting is induced by administrating certain medicines internally.it is conducted in the early hours of the day. Vamanam is effective in kaphaja rogas like Bronchial Asthma, Psoriasis, Schizophrenia, Drug Addiction, Allergic Conditions, Epilepsy, PCOS, etc.

Virechanam (Purgation thearpy)

Elimination of pittadi doshas through the anal route is called virechana. Specific medicines are administrated through the oral route at specific time of the dsy where pitta dosha is dominant . It has got a lot of therapeutic benefits in disorders of GI Tract, Musculoskeletal Spectrum, Neurological disorders,skin disorders etc.

Nasyam (Nasal Medication)

The administration of medicines via nasal route in specific doses is called as Nasya. Mostly indicated in diseases of Head and Neck, Psychiatric Disorders, Cervical Spondylosis, some Gynaecological diseases, etc.

Anuvasana Vasthi (Oil Enema)

Here Medicated Oil / Ghee is injected through the rectal opening. Effective in Disorders of Musculoskeletal System, Nervous System, GI disorders, etc.

Nirooha Vasthi / Asthapana Vasthi (Decoction Enema)

Medicines are mixed thoroughly in specific doses and order and made a solution to be administered into the rectal opening using a specifically designed instrument. Effective in disorders of musculoskeletal system such as Lumbar Spondylosis, Sciatica,Neurological disorders etc.

Raktha Mokshana

It is the process of letting out vitiated blood from the body through procedures called siravyadhana [ blood letting through the needle by puncturing the siras at particular points} , jalaukavacharana{the procedure in which leeches are used to drain the vitiated blood and to maintain the fluidity} and prachana.

Indication:- Varicose veins,venous eczema with Non-healing Ulcers, cellulitis,Gouty arthritis, various skin ailments,aloepacia etc.

Uttarabasti

Uttarbasti is an unique Ayurvedic procedure, wherein the medicines are administered into the urinary and vaginal passage. It is mentioned for the genito–urinary disorders of both males and females.
